A Collaborative Approach to Care

A Prescriber Who Values Your Work

I work collaboratively with therapists to support shared clients through thoughtful psychiatric medication management. My goal is never to replace therapy — it’s to strengthen the work you’re already doing.

What Referring Looks Like

What kind of provider are you?

I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults. My role is to support symptom stabilization so your therapy work can be more effective.

Do you replace therapy?

No. My goal is never to replace therapy — it’s to strengthen the work you’re already doing. I encourage clients to remain actively engaged in therapy as a central part of their care. While medication management is my primary role, I provide supportive, skills-based interventions during visits when clinically appropriate — especially during periods of increased distress or symptom escalation. I do not provide ongoing psychotherapy and work to support the therapeutic relationship already in place.

What types of clients do you commonly support?

I frequently work with adults experiencing:

  • Anxiety disorders, depression, or mood disorders

  • ADHD needing evaluation and medication management

  • Sleep difficulties, focus concerns, or emotional regulation challenges

  • Clients who may benefit from psychiatric medication in addition to ongoing therapy

  • Individuals who feel “stuck” in therapy due to unmanaged symptoms

How do you collaborate with therapists?

With client consent, I:

  • Provide concise, clinically relevant updates on medication plans and changes

  • Coordinate around clinical concerns or symptom shifts

  • Respect your therapeutic relationship and treatment goals

  • Encourage clients to stay engaged in therapy

My communication style is clear, focused, and designed to support your work without adding unnecessary burden to your workflow.

Will you communicate with me about our shared client?

Yes. With appropriate consent, I share relevant updates regarding diagnosis, medication adjustments, and clinical concerns that may impact therapy.

Will you change medications started by another provider?

If changes are clinically appropriate, I discuss options carefully with the client, consider their treatment history and response, and value your observations when available.

Do you perform ADHD evaluations?

Yes. I provide adult ADHD evaluations and medication management when clinically appropriate.

How quickly can you usually see new referrals?

New patient appointments are often available within 1–3 days, allowing timely support when symptoms are worsening or interfering with therapy progress.

What states do you serve?

I see adult clients via secure telehealth in:

  • Illinois

  • Idaho

  • Washington

Do you accept insurance?

I am in-network with most major commercial insurance plans. Self-pay options and limited sliding scale availability are also offered.

What is your treatment style?

My approach to psychiatric medication management is collaborative, conservative, and client-centered. I take time to listen, explain options, and make decisions together with the client rather than using one-size-fits-all prescribing.
